I am proud to have spent the last decade as a school administrator and I am happy to serve as Principal of Frances Willard Elementary School. I have extensive personal and professional experience in leadership roles, first as an athlete, then as a corporate employee, and small business owner, followed by collegiate and scholastic athletic coaching and most recently as a building level administrator. I have been an administrator in both urban and rural settings, and have taught in suburban schools, this diversity in experience shadows my life’s experience, and the diversity of the Scranton School District.
I am well versed in data driven decision making, curricular supervision, and curriculum design and I strive to impart positive discipline strategies. It is my hope to be a transformational leader, that creates lasting change and positive memories.
It is my goal to make a difference in education. I want to give back to my community, I want to be an example to all children; I want them to know that they have the opportunity to receive a world class education right here in Scranton, Pennsylvania. They should know that no matter their social economic status, gender, or race, we can provide them with a dynamic education!
I believe in the “Willard Pledge” with all my heart!
Today is a new day
I choose to do my best
I am responsible for all of my actions and behaviors
I am important
I am special
I am successful
I am somebody
I am a Willard Wildcat!
Go WildCats Go!
